Working with an architect

Often, it is unclear what advantages exist in including a big expense for a designer in the budget. Whether you are planning an extension or a dwelling, it is probably going to be one of the most expensive you will have in your lifetime. How can an architect make this smoother?

In the UK, it is not mandatory to submit a Planning Application using an architect. Also, it is not mandatory to hire a physio if you have a muscle injury, or you could attempt surgery without a qualified surgeon. It is technically possible, but when the outcome truly matters, expertise makes all the difference. When you are in the process of developing your dream house, there are so many decisions that will be new, uncertain, and difficult and having someone on your side that has, not only followed the process many times, but has a method and even can in one glance, understand design, people and construction, are you prepared to let them guide you?
